Lachlan Parker’s winning proposal: A descriptive Analysis of Flight Intensive Care Paramedic Operations in Brisbane over a six month period, is expected to establish meaningful analytical tools for understanding more clearly the challenges both clinically and operationally for intensive care paramedics working in this arena and lead to advance in pre-hospital care relevant particularly to flight-evacuated patients.  This project will be carried out under the supervision of the Australian Centre for Prehospital Research.

This year’s award is granted to Christine McIlroy and her team to investigate issues facing women in the QAS who work in operational rural and remote settings.
