Donations and Bequests
Donations and bequests are often received from those whose lives have in some way been touched by the work of the QAS Northern Region. This may be from a family whose loved one was treated or saved by our officers, or simply from those who wish to assist the QAS in some way.
Where a donation or bequest is managed through legal channels, the QAS works with the legal representative to ensure that the donation is utilised in accordance with the wishes of the donors. Similarly, where a donation is made directly to the QAS those managing the donation ensure that the donation remains in the local area, and that the use of any funding or donation is made in accordance with the wishes of the donor.
