First Aid In The Workplace
The provision of First Aid or Resuscitation training may help to save the life of an employee in the event of a workplace accident or illness. The Community Education staff in the Northern Region can advise employers on the courses available, their content and price range. They can also assist you to select the most suitable course for your needs.
The Northern Region offers a range of courses, from Senior First Aid (the basic first aid qualification) and Resuscitation through to more advanced qualifications such as Occupational First Aid, and Automatic External Defibrillation. We also offer the opportunity for employees to undertake refresher training in many of the courses on a regular basis.
Senior First Aid and resuscitation courses are conducted on a regular basis, and employees could book in to one of the regular public courses. Alternatively, if participant numbers in a workplace are sufficient, a course could be conducted at your workplace.
