Recruitment Update!
9 August 2010 – QAS Recruitment now campaign based
Due to the popularity of Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) as an employer of choice for health professionals, the QAS has a very large number of applications for the roles of Student Paramedic and Student Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) at various stages in the recruitment process.
Consequently, the Student Paramedic and Student EMD recruitment processes have been amended (as of 9 August 2010).
QAS will no longer recruit through a continuous recruitment process but will conduct targeted campaigns when vacancies arise.
This means that applications will be accepted when recruitment campaigns are held.
Applications received prior to 9 August 2010 will continue through the recruitment process.
Please return to this site to check on recruitment campaign updates.
Please note, material on this website will be updated as required to reflect the amended recruitment process.
