Queensland Ambulance Service Student Emergency Medical Dispatchers are trained to assist triple zero (000) callers who require Ambulance assistance. In some centres, they may also dispatch Ambulances and Paramedics around the region.

The Queensland Ambulance Service Student Emergency Medical Dispatcher Recruitment Process takes a complete approach to selecting the most suitable people from Queensland’s diverse communities.

Each step of the process is equally important and reflects the skills, knowledge and abilities crucial to being a Student Emergency Medical Dispatcher.
