Patient Transport Officers
Patient Transport Officers provide non-emergency patient transport within the QAS. Patient Transport Officers provide a pre-booked non-urgent service that includes home to hospital transfers.
The training involved in this role ensures that those people requiring transport to medical services will have the support of trained professionals in case of need.
When Regional QAS offices are recruiting Patient Transport Officers, advertisements will be placed in local newspapers and on the Queensland Government Smart Jobs and careers website.
